We are in the transition time from Summer to Fall. Just as the earth is in a transition of seasons, so is your body (In Ayurveda, it’s the transition from Pitta to Vata). This is a great time of year to do a cleanse, to keep your body in balance amidst the changes. Cleaning out the built up heat(Pitta) from Summer and transition to more grounding foods for Fall. In your diet, this can mean changing from salads to steamed vegetables or from fruits to roasted root vegetables.
